I composed Endless Concrete Work about Istanbul for the exhibition "Chapters of a city" by Italian photographer Giorgio Caione. The exhibition took place at La Manera museum in Borgomanero, Italy (June 2016).
The piece was featured for the second time (April 2017), this time without the photographs, in the exhibition Sin puntos cardinales: Time to think, organized by the Mexico City-based art collective Artfacto.

Most of the sounds were recorded with a Tascam DR-08 unit between January and June 2016 in Istanbul (around Beyoğlu, Kadıköy and Eminönü areas). Some samples were downloaded from freesound.org or archive.org and are distributed under free to use CC0 licence. A few of them were taken from albums on vinyl which have not been reissued in at least 30 years.
It is mixed and mastered in my home studio in Istanbul.
